GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Several Veterans biked through the Grand Valley Wednesday as part of the Veterans Charity Ride. Their trip began in Las Vegas and the riders are biking to the Sturgis Bike Rally in South Dakota. Wounded and amputee veterans, and those who are living with psychological injuries are participating. They are riding on Indian motorcycles that are custom-built to meet their needs, to raise awareness about motorcycle therapy, and to meet fellow veterans along the way. As they passed through the Grand Valley many Western Slope firefighters and law enforcement officers lined overpasses along Interstate 70, to show their support for the bikers.
