Jared 'Bones" Thomas, US ARMY
US Army Staff Sgt Jared Thomas served on Active Duty for eight and half years, from 2009-2018. Jared knew he wanted a job where he could help others, so he decided that becoming a Combat Medic was the right choice for him. After years of ground pounding with Infantry and Scout soldiers, Jared decided to become an Army Flight Paramedic, and was stationed with the 82nd Airborne Aviation “ALL-AMERICAN DUSTOFF”.
Married to his high school sweetheart, Mikaela. They are blessed to have two sons, Greyson and Oliver. Jared has been riding motorcycles since he was teenager and continues to love riding with his dad, brother, friends, and with his brothers and sisters who ride with CVMA (Combat Veterans Motorcycle Assoc.). Jared ‘Bones’ Thomas first joined VCR in 2018. The healing and change Jared experienced on the ride to Sturgis was profound. He returned to VCR in 2019 as Transportation Coordinator so he could help other veterans the way he’d been helped. We are very proud to have Jared returning to Veterans Charity Ride in 2020 to serve as a mentor and lead Road Captain and will be riding his own 2018 Indian Chieftain. |
