Chad Morris - Sergeant First Class - US Army
Chad Morris was born and raised in Martinsville, IN. He knew college wasn't for him so he enlisted in the Army May 1996, doing Basic and Advanced Individual Training at Ft. Sill, OK. Chad's original MOS was Multiple Launch Rocket System Crew-member (13M), but he later changed to become a Forward Observer (13F).
Chad's career took him to Ft. Sill, OK, Bamberg, Germany, Ft. Bragg, NC, Ft. Jackson, SC, and Ft. Bliss, TX. Chad was deployed to Iraq in 2003 and 2009. When Chad got back from his first deployment he needed something... That's when he bought his first bike and started riding in 2004.
One of Chad's favorite duties was being a Drill Sergeant from 2005-2008. After 17 years of active duty, Chad was medically retired in May 2013. Chad has been married to his best friend, Becky, since May 1997. They are blessed with 2 children, Alec and Mercedes. He is excited and thankful to be chosen for this year's Veteran's Charity Ride to Sturgis and looking forward to helping fellow veterans . We are very pleased to have Chad join us on the ride to Sturgis.
