Connecting with vets on the Indian Motorcycle Veterans Charity Ride to the 75th Annual Sturgis Rally.
From: www.motorcyclistonline.com By Jack Lewis Burbank California, One Day Before the Ride We all speak the same language, even if the dialects differ. Over dinner at the Burbank Marriott’s Daily Grill, the jokes leapt over each other like sportive otters, just the way you always do at a family reunion.

Made it home safe and sound from an unbelievable 2 week adventure! The Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis 2015 started off with over a dozen strangers and quicklybecame a family. We shared some of the most personal, emotional and trying times of our lives, we used motorcycles and the ride as therapy to come together, heal and pull ourselves and each other out of the dark and into the light of life and living. This was by far the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. I am over-run with emotion, gratitude and the feeling of affection for my brothers and sisters who came together to make this happen and be part of what will be a long standing tradition. We touched the lives of thousands of veterans and the general public across the nation, we proved that people truly care about us and the issues that veterans face on a daily basis. There is so much more to come with clips, pictures and stories. I want to personally thank the Founding Veterans Riders Tommy Montgomery, Virgi Bondi,Georgey Doober Hernandez, David Maxwell Jr, George Nickel, Rich Chilly Neely,Sharon Allen Pirog, Jack Lewis, Frank K Allen, Sean Carroll, Joshua Ferguson, Glen Silva, and of course Robert Pandya who is now considered one of our Brothers in Arms. With love and respect Ndn Dave, Robert Manciero and the entire VCR crew.

BOISE, Idaho (KIVI)– Three Boise Veterans flew down to L.A. where they picked up some motorcycles and rode through the southwest, all to raise awareness for the Wyakin Warrior Foundation. They said the Countryside they got to see was nothing short of amazing. From Black Hills Fox:
by Heather Janssen Many are en route to the hills on their motorcycle for the Rally…and many have already arrived. But one group had a special trip coming all the way from L-A to commemorate the 75th with Indian Motorcycles. They call it the next great tradition; veterans riding across the western United States to commemorate freedom and love for our country. Veterans Charity Ride A 1,776-mile motorcycle trek from Los Angeles to the 75th annual Sturgis Rally in South Dakota stopped in Craig Friday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265. Locals were able to meet and thank the combat vets and wounded warriors involved who served in the military on behalf of the United States.
