Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis (VCR) gets combat wounded veterans outside, using motorcycle therapy, outdoor adventure activities and camaraderie to help heal the wounds of war. The theme for the 2021 ride to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is America, Get Out and Ride.
Being cooped up and kept apart over the past year and a half has exacted a toll on nearly everyone and the veteran community in particular. With that in mind, Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis has taken on a Special Mission; Get as many veterans out riding by inviting them to join the ride at specific stops along the route and culminating in the largest group of veterans riding into Sturgis to open the 81st Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

10:00am Indian Motorcycle of Grand Junction 633 24 1/2 Rd, Grand Junction
Meet up and ride all or part of the way with VCR to Steamboat Springs, CO
Wednesday 8/4 Fort Collins, CO
3:30pm Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado at Spring Canyon Park
2626 W Horsetooth Rd, Ft Collins, CO
Everyone is invited to the VCR Welcome Reception hosted by the Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado with food provided by Freddy’s Steakburgers. The VCR group will make their entrance into the Vets Plaza at 4:00pm and for the next few hours visit with fellow veterans and supporters share a meal and a special presentation by the Ft Collins City Council.

Ride all or part of the way to Ft Robinson, NE.
10:00am Maverik -1706 South Greeley Highway Cheyenne, WY
Join the ride for all or part of the way to Ft Robinson, WY
2:30pm Maverik 920 W 36th St, Scottsbluff, NE
Join us after our lunch stop to ride into Ft Robinson
Friday 8/6 - Sturgis, SD
9:00am Maverik 1207 W Highway 20, Chadron, NE
Ride with us all or part of the way to Sturgis!
11:00am Phillips 66 at 49 N 5th St, Custer, SD.
Ride with us to Rapid City and then the big ride ride into Sturgis
12:00pm Rapid City Maverik, 1624 Haines Ave, Rapid City, SD 57701
Meet up & ride with VCR for the final leg into Sturgis!
1:00pm All Riders Depart Rapid City Maverik for Indian Motorcycle Sturgis
