Sgt Michael P Müller, US Air Force RetiredMy full name is Michael Peter Müller. Named after my father Peter Paul Müller. Being the son of an Army Ranger/Green Beret from the President Kennedy Recondo era. Born in 1967 on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Graduated from high school in 1986 in Hilo, Hawaii.
The reason I joined the Air Force was because I wasn’t ready for college yet and I needed a change from the Island. Attended basic in Lackland AFB in Texas. Probably chose the medical field because I rescued a friend of mine who flipped off a rope into a river and crushed his skull and started floating down the river, I jumped in rescued him and swam across the river and carried him up the river bank to a waiting ambulance. Not knowing that I would be a shoe in for a aero evacuation Air Force specialty code. I started riding when I was 7 years old and I was sent to summer camp in southern California and I’ve never stopped riding. In my 30 year career in the Air Force I’ve been to Texas, Colorado, California, Washington, Maryland, Washington D.C., Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Hawaii, New Mexico, Delaware and Arizona. Out of America I’ve been to Mexico, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Iraq, The UAE, Oman, and Egypt. I’m a father of 3 children 2 girls and a boy. I currently reside in Butte, Montana. Out of all the years in the military I think the most enjoyable mission that I’ve ever been on would have to when hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana in 2005. I retired from the military in 2016 and I become a Teamster in Hollywood working for various motion pictures and television series. |
